I saw Pirates of the Caribbean for the third time today. Shut up. I know that the movie has absolutely no substance to it, yet I find myself loving it more and more every time. I guess I just like to have fun. Not a crime. No-siree! In fact, the film is Booty-ful! Geddit? Pirate's Booty? Like the puffed popcorn-like snack? GEDDIT?? Ok. That joke may have been a crime. (Joke © Tara :-) ) And remember all that stuff I said about how the jokes in the movie could have been set up a little better? Well, by the third time around, that problem is sort of overshadowed by the fact that I know most of the jokes by heart anyway. I've taken to setting up the jokes in my head. Geez, yes I KNOW I'm a loser! Get over it.
Also, I went into FYE because Tara wanted to buy a CD. I promised myself that I wouldn't buy any more CDs for a while because I have a few new ones that I haven't listened to straight through yet. Needless to say, I bought another CD. But how could I resist? I've been meaning to buy this old Flaming Lips album, and whaddayaknow--they've got a used one on sale for $6.99. ...When a bargain calls, I must answer. I think I'm gonna do an inventory of everything I bought this summer. Did I buy more shoes or CDs? Aren't you curious? For sure, it's a question that's been keeping me up nights.
