Seabiscuit. Good movie. Go see it.

That's it. No, really. Stop reading.

Ok fine, I'll muster up a bit of an explanation:

I really liked the way the story was told. The action of the plot was intertwined with black and white news clippings from the era, with wonderful narration (by David McCullough, who has a real storyteller's voice) that really connected things well. Tobey Maguire really seems comfortable with films set in this era, as he was also excellent in The Cider House Rules (Though that film was set a bit later than this one). I hope he does more of this kind of work. Anyway, after school starts, I plan to start reading the book. I imagine its even better than the movie.

So that's number one crossed off the list. What's the next one? Oh yeah: Amanda is cool, blah-dee-blah. We had fun, blah-dee-blah. Said the word "douchebag" a lot, blah-dee-blah. Danced in the street to some douchebag's loud music, blah blah blah made-a-fool-of-myself-for-a-laugh cakes. What else is new?
