This weekend, Q-104.3 had a Labor Day countdown. A lot of stations do that kind of thing, but instead of a boring recap of shitty summer songs, they took a bunch of categories (best drinking song, best anthem, best guitar solo, etc.) and did the top ten for each. I guess it helps that it's the classic rock station, so the bulk of the playlist is already good. The number one drinking song is "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" by George Thorogood. This song has been one of my guilty pleasures for years. I was dancing around the kitchen in my pajamas. But you didn't need to know that.
