The following is the product of a long day during which I spent most of my time talking to people online and sitting around in a half-conscious state. Boredom makes me think too much. I'm in an extremely weird mood. Here is a list of general things that bother me. They seem to be written to one specific person but they are not, the format just happens to be conducive to writing what I'm feeling. See the post below this one for my usual yay-ish patter.
1. Don't condescend me. If there is one thing I hate, it's being patronized. I am not an idiot, nor do I need pity.
2. Please stop sugar coating everything. I'm getting my braces off in a couple of weeks and I'd like my teeth to be in tact.
3. Stop being overly dramatic. Please. I know, everything is soooooo amazing or soooo bad but just try to contain it. A little.
4. Stop pretending to be modest. It's fine to be good and know it. Pretending that you think you suck just makes others feel like crap.
5. Do not under any circumstances say "so....." in an IM conversation unless I have said something that needs clarification. We are not face to face, so awkward silences should be eliminated. If I wanted awkward silences, I would've called you.
6. Pursuant to that, I hate talking on the phone except to a select few. I will be pleasant but short with the rest of you. Sorry.
7. Apparently, the most desirable girls are clingy, obnoxious, obsessive, dependent, uninteresting, whiny, inconsiderate parasites who take themselves too seriously.
8. I'm independent, I hate asking people for things, and I will be too busy with my own stuff to keep any male I happen to be attached to from having his own life. I don't hate that. I hate that I'm the weird one.
9. I'm not into games (except on games.com). Don't dangle information in front of my face, don't assume that I'm clueless, and don't get involved in my business in the first place unless I have made you involved on purpose.
10. Sigh.
i apply to alot of the things you wrote!:)
