Wow the past few days have been awesome. Friday night we went to the metropolitan museum. I love going there and just walking around on my own. It was a really calming ending for the week. Saturday I went shopping in the morning and I bought The Most Comfortable Shoes In The World. Awesome. At night the program director took us to see Golda's Balcony. it was absolutely amazing. Students can go to the box office and grt 25 dollar tickets. Go now. After the show we got to meet Tovah Feldshuh. She is CRAZY. Brilliant, but crazy. And not bitter at allll about losing the Tony. "You just gotta let it go. But I did lose the tony. But I gotta let it go." Hee. After the show the program director gave us some time to ask him questions about applying to NYU and auditions and the program at Steinhardt. It was enlightening, and I am definitely applying here now. Although he did say that they give almost no money. Meh, I'll just be in debt for a good part of my post-college life. After that we went home and Ginny and Kaitlyn came over to listen to some showtunes and watch family guy. So that was saturday.
Sunday I slept in untl about 10:30 and then read some of Sophie's World. It doesn't seem to be that bad. I hope it isn't. Later, Adam, Vincent, Steve, and Jenny came to visit. My roommates liked Jenny. Heh. I enjoy her too, except when she locks us out of my room. Ok, I even enjoy her then. We (plus Kaitlyn.--yay!) walked to china town in order to find thai food and then we looked around in some thrift shops. Yay. Then they came back to the dorm for a while and we talked about nothing exciting. It was nice to talk to familiar people after two weeks of having to introduce myself to every person I speak to.
Today I started the day with song analysis, my favorite class. I sang last, and it was the best I've done my song in...ever. It felt soooo good. And I could tell that my teacher was happy with it, so I was really excited. I'm going home now to listen to the tape from today so that I can keep whatever I did fresh. YAY!
G'night!
P.S. There is a thai restaurant on university place. I pass it every day on the way to class. Oops. My bad.
